A lace wig is a wig where each individual strand of hair is knotted into a fine mesh cap (known as lace) which is constructed to fit the wearers head. The lace used is matched to the colour of the client’s skin to achieve an undetectable appearance. The lace wig is attached just below the wearers own hairline with special tapes, adhesives or straps. Depending on the attachment method used the lace wig can stay on the wearers head for a few days to a few weeks. The lace wig will feel light and natural on your head.
As the lace wig is attached to the entire perimeter of the client’s head, a limitless number of styles can be achieved such as high ponytails and cornrows.
